How I’m Losing Weight, While My Daughter Watches
I’ve struggled with weight loss most of my life. Since the age of 12, my head was filled with insecurities about my body; the shape (or mis-shape of it), how it bulged and rolled in the trend-setting fashions of a 90s pre-teen. It wasn’t until well after college that I started to accept my curves as an asset and not some intensely hideous liability.
Now I’m a mom of a beautiful six year old girl, and I have to teach her how to love her body as it is and keep it healthy.
