5 Awesome Mini-Putt Courses in Calgary

With the summer now fully upon us, we're getting back into the swing of things—so why not do it literally? We found four awesome mini-putt courses in Calgary to putt your stuff.

Located in the NE, Monster Mini Golf is full of spooky, silly fun with amazing animatronics that appeal to goblins young and old. Our kids were glowing—literally—thanks to the funky black lighting and bright neon colours in the space. We love that there's lots of staff on hand to help, and after you purchase your tickets, you are given a number—so you can let the goblins go and spend time in the arcade area rather than wait in line. The staggered times also mean less congestion on the course. The arcade offers a range of game options for all ages—from fishing for the littlest ghouls up to bigger games even Dad would enjoy. Instead of coins and prize tickets, cards can be purchased to use at each game, and any prize tickets won transfer automatically to your card—no lost tickets scattered on the floor! We recommend dressing the kids in black-light friendly colours (white, neon) in order to help them stand out among the crowd.

This is one of the best mini-golf options in Calgary. It's a fun, 18-hole outdoor course with a view! A family can golf for $30. We suggest making a day of it and taking in some of the other activities at COP while you're there, including the Spiderweb and the Eurobungy.

Located at the Oasis Greens Golf Centre, this 18-hole course is considered the only ‘championship' mini-golf course in western Canada. We love the two waterfalls, spray fountains and other water hazards. It's just like the real thing.

The ‘summer-only' 18-hole course is one of many family activities at the centre. If you're looking to book a birthday, the Unlimited Package includes mini golf among other activities. Good to Know: When it's busy, there's a maximum of four players allowed in a group.

Fun N' More's indoor playground has a nine-hole black light mini-golf course with a cute summer theme, and is a great way to introduce the littles to the sport. We like that once your game is done, there are other options at Fun N' More to check out, including Calgary's tallest play structure, interactive floor games, a video arcade and year-round indoor ice skating.
