Egg-citing Easter Events and Activities in Vancouver
There's just so much happening around Vancouver this Easter holiday. Whether you're looking for a fun way to get outside and enjoy the beautiful spring weather, or just need a way to keep the kids entertained over the long weekend, we've rounded up our favourite local brunches, egg hunts, and Easter festivals happening all over the city. Easter Egg Hunt #EGGTHECITY
Katzie Elementary (6887 194A Street) will be having a large Easter egg hunt that kicks off on March 19, and they've sent out the invite for children in the community to join in. Meet at the school, and get ready for a huge egg hunt! Afterwards enjoy a petting zoo, face painting, bouncy castles, crafts, and other free surprises. This is going to be a great community event. Note that you do need to RSVP and bring your tickets with you to take part.

Easter at Aldor Acres
Head to Aldor Acres farm this Easter long weekend, where you will get to meet all of the new spring babies. You can go for a hayride, and visit with all of the animals. The farm concession will be open, or pack your own lunch and have a picnic while there. Admission is $8 per person, cash only.

Easter Egg Hunt & Brunch at Sea to Sky Gondola
You'll get to experience a memorable Easter Sunday at the Sea to Sky Gondola on March 27. There are two different seating times for brunch (10 am, and 12 pm) but be sure to call and make a reservation as space is limited. The egg hunt is at 11:30 am, and is free with a lift ticket/season pass. You meet in the plaza, and all of the children will be grouped by age for the actual egg hunt.

Easter Bonnet Ride #YVRFAMILYBIKING
This is the second annual Vancouver Family Biking Easter Bonnet Ride. If your family loves a good bike ride, and you have a bit of a creative side, it's time turn your helmet into a crazy Easter bonnet. Everyone going for the ride is meeting at Science World to hang out for a bit, then the ride will start at 10:30 am. There will be prizes for the best Easter bonnets, games along the way, and treats for everyone at their destination. Be sure to make a plan for lunch, and bring clothing and shoes for the beach, as well as buckets and shovels to make a castle. This is a great opportunity to get outside and enjoy the day as a family.

Stanley Park Easter Train
Hop aboard the Stanley Park Easter Train, and go for an Easter ride through the park. After riding the train your kids can go Easter egg hunting, have their faces painted to look like a bunny, and make bunny ears. The train is running rain or shine.

Easter at Grouse Mountain
Head to the top of Grouse Mountain with your family and enjoy a buffet brunch. There are all sorts of wonderful brunch options for all ages, but note that reservations are recommended. The Easter Bunny will be leading an egg hunt, and there is face painting happening too. Admission also includes access to Mountaintop activities.

Great A-mazing Egg Hunt
The VanDusen Botanical Garden has a unique egg hunt for kids ages 2 to 10. There are 6 different outdoor egg hunt areas, plus chocolate treats, different activities, and the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny. A basket and event map are provided when you arrive. Buy your tickets in advance because space is limited.

Maan Farms Easter Egg-stravaganza
Enjoy an awesome Easter egg hunt on the farm. There will also be a petting zoo, face painting, prizes, and treats. Bring your own basket for the egg hunt, or get one for $2 while there. You also have access to all their other attractions such as pedal go-karts, and a giant inflatable bubble jump.

Easter at Lonsdale Quay
North Van's Lonsdale Quay Market and Cobs Bakery are hosting an Easter event for kids 2 to 10 years of age. The Easter eggs are first come, first find at this event so be sure to arrive early with your kids. Your kids can decorate a cookie, do crafts, and get a photo with the Easter Bunny too.

Easter at Bear Creek Park
The train will be running in the park all Easter weekend. There are crafts to do on the train platform, and ride the train into the forest where you will go for an egg hunt, and trade the eggs for a treat. Be sure to have your face painted like a bunny, and make your ears to wear.
