Cracking Easter
Just off the heels of March break and bam! It’s a four-day weekend with your beloved and the kids. If you’re looking for some fun in the city and you feel like you’ve already taken TO by storm, we’ve got a few new ideas to add to the list.
Here are some original activities to keep the family in the celebratory mood this long weekend, whether you are uptown, downtown or venturing out of town.
Uptown
The Solar Stage Children’s Theatre is putting on a musical adaptation of the Brothers Grimm story of The Golden Goose. We love this story about the good that comes from helping a stranger in need, and all the silliness that ensues will keep your little (and big) ones giggling. Recommended for kids ages 3 to 10, The Golden Goose is running on Saturday, April 3 and Sunday, April 4 at 11 am and 2 pm.
Good to know: This theatre was designed with kids in mind. There are kids-only cushions at the front with great views of the stage, if you and your kids are comfortable sitting apart. There are no reserved seats and it’s first come, first served, so arrive early.
