Easter Events for Families in Vancouver This Weekend

We’ve got three full days to revel in the joy of Easter. Here are our picks for the very best family-friendly Easter events happening in Vancouver this long weekend.

A city classic. Ride the train, meet the bunny himself, make some Easter crafts, play some games, have your face painted (extra fee) and enjoy an Easter egg hunt….BYOB (bring your own basket, of course!) Note that this is a popular event so purchase your ticket ASAP to avoid disappointment. This outdoor event (happening rain or shine!) features plenty of eggs for the kiddos to hunt in and around the mazes and hedges of VanDusen. Baskets and a map is provided, and there will also be crafts and activities. $15 for kids, $11.25 for adults, more info at vandusengarden.org

It is a time for family! Grandparents are included (in fact, it's a must!) in this fun Easter egg hunt happening March 31 at the Bonsor 55+ Centre in Burnaby. There will also be crafts, games, and treats. The fun starts at 10 am. $2 per person, more info at burnaby.ca

If this doesn’t tire them out, nothing will: face painting, arts and crafts, games, and, of course, an egg hunt. Egg hunts run at 1:00, 1:30, 2:00 and 2:30pm. Be sure to get your tickets in advance as registration is required. $5 per person, more info here.
